Personal Sales Procedure
(Personal Academic Orders Only)
PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING!!
All Macintosh systems meet
or exceed minimum requirements to function on the University of Maryland,
College Park's network, and all come with built-in Ethernet.
After reading this sheet, click
on the Apple Store below.
Follow all instructions specified
by the Apple Store web site.
The Book Center will provide
limited support: answers to general questions, availability of products,
pre-sales configuration support and demonstration models. Call (301)
314-7840.
- Click the link at the
bottom of the page. It will open a new window that will redirected you
to a
secure page where you must log in with your Directory ID and password.
- Click on the link
Individual
Purchases
- Locate the product closest
to the one you are seeking and make any customizing changes you wish.
You may also choose from a "Pre-built" model.
- Keep clicking on "Continue"
and/or "Add to Order" until all items your desire are in your
shopping basket.
- After selecting all the
items you would like to purchase, click "Current Order" located
on the top menu bar. You will then see the items that you selected.
Make sure the items and quantity are as desired.
- At the bottom of the page
there is a place to login if you have an existing Apple ID or register
if you do not.
- After logging in, select
the school that you attend (UMCP ), your shipping method, and
enter your billing and shipping information.
- Verify that all the information
is correct and click "Place order"
- To print out your order,
click "Download your Order information and eligibility Form".
You will need to have or download Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view/print
your proposal.
You will receive a confirmation email from Apple in around 30 minutes
if you supplied your email address as well as an order number.
