Student Cap & Gown Information

The University Book Center is the official supplier of commencement regalia for the University of Maryland. The University has selected Oak Hall as the company for the official regalia.

Caps, gowns, hoods, tassels, invitations, diploma frames, and other commemorative accessories are available in the University Book Center.

Undergraduate and Master degree students must purchase their regalia. Students are not permitted to rent.

The following items are required:

- Cap
- Gown
- Departmental Hood
- Stole of Gratitude
- Tassel with official medallion
- In addition you will receive 10 announcements to the main ceremony.

Regalia are sold in packages.
