General Return Policy
- All merchandise other than textbooks may be refunded anytime with a
valid receipt.
- Without a receipt, a store credit will be issued at the current
selling price.
- Cash back on all merchandise credits will not exceed $10.00.
- All merchandise must be in original condition.
Software Return Policy
Hardware Return Policy
computer hardware sales are FINAL!!!
All defective computer hardware will be handled by UBC's computer
department within seven days of purchase.
After seven days, defective computer hardware will be handled by
the manufacturer.
Textbook Return Policy

We will be happy to issue a refund within the first
two weeks of class (by February 10th) with a valid University Book
Center receipt.

All textbook sales are final as of February
10, 2002.

Textbooks must be in original condition.

Refunds will be given in the form of payment received.

We cannot issue a refund without a receipt.

Exceptions

Custom course materials,
outlines, study guides, magazines, and prepaid phone cards are not
returnable.

UBC Management reserves the right to determine the
salability of all merchandise.
Buy Back Policy

The best time to sell your books back is during finals
week.

We will pay you 50% of the book's selling price, if it
was requested by your professor for required use next term and the
University Book center is not overstocked.

If the book does not meet this criteria, the prices we
pay are based on the current national demand.

All books must be in good condition.

All CD-Roms and software must be included with the
book.

Some books have little or no monetary value. Out
of print books and old editions are not in national demand and we
can't buy them.

Study guides and workbooks are not eligible for Buy
Back.

FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE STUDENTS ON OUR CAMPUS,
WE ALWAYS REQUIRE THOSE SELLING BOOKS TO SHOW CURRENT STUDENT
IDENTIFICATION.
